Phanice Dabani is the Group Chief Information Officer of the Cannon Group, with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and a strong foundation in Actuarial Science and Insurance Operations.

In her current role, she leads the company’s technology strategy, driving innovation, operational efficiency, and customer-focused digital solutions. Over the years at Cannon, she has held key leadership positions including Group Chief Operations Officer and Chief Actuary for both Life and General business.

Her expertise is further underpinned by 12 years of leadership experience at Jubilee Life Insurance. She is an Associate of the UK Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI), and holds a BSc in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi.
