Scope of Coverage

Assets Covered

Coverage extends to buildings, machinery, furniture, fixtures and fittings and electrical installations, compensated based on reinstatement value for buildings and machinery and market value for stocks.

Machinery Repairs

Damages occurring to machinery and equipment when sent out for repairs are covered.

Transit Risks

Coverage for damages during transit within the client’s compound.

Bursting and overflowing of water tanks, apparatus and pipes
Natural Disasters

Forest fires, subterranean fires, leakage, contamination, spoilage material damage, spontaneous combustion and landslides
Power Failure

Deterioration of stocks due to power failure following damage to premises of public power stations and electric service feeders (for Cold Storages)
Other Risks

Includes coverage for sprinkler leakages, burglary (other than larceny), machinery breakdown, boiler explosion, electronic equipment damage and business interruption following fire or machinery breakdown
