Phanice possesses extensive experience in the Insurance industry, with technical expertise in the Actuarial field and Insurance Operations spanning over 20 years. She has previously held senior roles at Cannon that include being the Chief Actuary for the Life and General Company.

Prior to joining Cannon, Phanice did a 12-year tenure at Jubilee Life Insurance; starting off as an Actuarial Trainee in 2004 and then serving thereafter in various capacities and culminating in the position of Head of Operations. Prior to this role, she was the Head of the Actuarial Function.

Phanice is an Associate of the Institute of Actuaries (UK) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial, from The University of Nairobi. She is also a member of The Actuarial Society of Kenya.
