Nuru is a Corporate lawyer and an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with extensive experience in privatization, securitization and domestic acquisitions. She specializes in Corporate/Commercial law, Intellectual Property, Competition law, Product Liability and Company Secretarial Practice. Her expertise extends to regulatory and compliance issues, including Anti-trust, Anti-Money Laundering, and Anti-Bribery laws and regulations in Kenya, neighboring countries, the UK and the US.

She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law (2016) and a Bachelor of Law (LL.B Hons) from the University of Nairobi. Additionally, she holds a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the University of Nairobi (2009).
