David Abwoga brings deep finance, audit, governance, and strategy expertise developed over three decades in financial services across East Africa. 

Mr. Abwoga is currently an Executive Director and Group Director, Finance at NCBA Group Plc, where he is an active member of the Strategy & Executive, Risk & Audit, Governance, and ICT committees. He is also a director at NCBA Bancassurance, as well as a trustee at KCA University and SOS Children’s Village.

His extensive career includes senior leadership roles at Citibank NA, Marshalls East Africa Ltd, and Deloitte & Touche.

Mr. Abwoga holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Moi University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPAK), Certified Public Secretary (CPSK), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
